Lidia completed her Master’s degree at the Columbia University School of Social Work in the City of New York, her degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Tarzana, CA, and degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside. Her therapy practice focuses on managing pressures of performance, value-driven mindset, resilience, and building a true mind-body partnership that enhances self-worth across a life course. Lidia is a competitive middle-distance runner, mental health advocate, and lululemon City Ambassador for Run in Los Angeles. Her personal experience as a woman of color in competitive sport and elite academic institutions has driven her advocacy for mental health in athletic and academic spaces.

As an Associate Clinical Social Worker, Lidia provides individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults navigating life’s challenges. Lidia provides an accessible, supportive, safe, and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore, understand, and resolve uncomfortable issues. As a Latine therapist and athlete, Lidia is enthusiastic about providing a space for equity, diversity, inclusion, and longevity in athletic, academic, and mental health spaces.  

Lidia’s style is interactive, warm, strength based, and purposeful. Her therapy work is collaborative and will feel like an ongoing conversation with thought-provoking questions and unbiased feedback to help individuals gain greater self-understanding. As a social worker she engages an ecological perspective and does not believe in a “one-size-fits-all” model of therapy. Through collaboration, Lidia supports individuals identify and implement appropriate skills and resources to reach individual goals.
