Bird Watching

During the weekend, had the opportunity to indulge in bird watching … the feathered kind, of course. The KL Bird Park was having an event at the Ikano Power Centre, with some of the Park residents being ‘migrated’ to Ikano for the 3-day event. Some birds were housed in cages, making it difficult to snap them unless you have a digicam where with small lens.
First time face to face with a Mandarin Duck <Canon 50D + Tamron 28-300mm>
This guy was sleeping (on one leg) at mid afternoon … probably ‘fooled’ by the darkened environment <Lumix DMC-FS5>
This shot was taken nearby my house … the birdie was feasting on palm fruits. Anyone knows what type it is? <Canon 50D + Tamron 28-300mm>
