It looks like our roti canai man has dozed off … and with his boss standing behind? It’s one of those occasions when the image doesn’t tell the truth of the matter. The guy was actually adjusting the intensity of the burner’s flame, lol. BTW, the shop is in PJ’s Taman Megah.

After the visit to the Thai Buddhist Chetawan Temple on Wesak Day, went to Raju Restoran across the main road (Jalan Gasing) for breakfast. Took this candid shot of a boy enjoying his meal of thosai. Seated beside was his grandma.

Yesterday was Wesak Day … where monastic disciples and lay followers of Buddhism commemorate Gautama Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and passing away. A day where they reaffirmed the Four Noble Truths and Noble Eightfold Path expounded by the Buddha.

Restoran Geyland Lor 9 is said to be a branch of the one from Singapore on Geylang Lorong 9 … known for its spicy Kung Poh Claypot Frog served with porridge. It has a branch in Johor Bahru and Georgetown. The one in PJ’s SS2 is on the same road as AmBank and McDonald’s.
