HELP Haiti with LOVE

The earthquake that rocked the impoverished island state of Haiti is nothing less than a horrendous catastrophe with untold suffering. The UN has appealed for more than US$560 million to help some 3 million people in dire need of shelter, food, water, medical supplies, etc.
I was pleasantly surprised when I came upon members from the Taiwan Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation Malaysia on a donation drive as part of the Foundation’s global HELP Haiti with LOVE campaign. Never mind the fact that the Spring festival is round the corner, these folks were doing their bit for the Haitian community affected by the quake. And many folks were generously giving from their heart. Every cent … big or small … counts!
