Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building

During the recent trip to Kuching I’d the chance to see the completed Bangunan Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak, albeit from across the river bank. The complex, located in Petrajaya, cost something like RM296.5 million. Another RM1 million was reportedly spent on the opening ceremony in mid-2008, which was graced by our King. Apparently its roof structrure is shaped like a payung or umbrella.
