Saffron-robed Monks in Pratunam
Dec 27th, 2009 by Steven
With some 95% of her population being Buddhists, the city of Bangkok has hundreds of Buddhist temples. Although there is no temple in the Pratunam area where my wife and I stayed, we came upon monks making their early morning rounds to collect alms from devotees. I saw this as a blessing in disguise as a trip to Thailand was not complete without witnessing this practice and taking photos.
