Diwali Celebration at the Sri Sithivinayagar Temple
Oct 17th, 2009 by Steven
This morning I visited the Sri Sithi Vinayagar Temple in PJ Section 4 (Old Town) to ‘immerse’ myself with the rituals. It was a colourful sight, particularly with the woman devotees and children donning their traditional costumes. Many of the men also wore traditional attires.
Took the opportunity to snap some photos with my Canon 50D paired with the Canon 24-105mm lens. BTW I got acquainted with a Mr Swami from the Malay Mail … more about our encounter tomorrow.
