Happy Birthday, Spenser

My nephew Spenser left for ‘home’ this morning, after being in Malaysia since early May for his summer holiday. ‘Home’ to him now is in a distant land, a developing ASEAN country, where his dad has a business project.
I was not at the airport to see him off, but I’m sure it was an emotional farewell with his mom and sister (Sydney) there. But thanks to the Internet, they can keep in constant (virtual) touch. They say that shedding some tears now and then has health benefits.
Anyway, Spenser – it’s his 15th birthday today – will surely have lots of stories to share with his classmates, especially his Japanese girlfriend, lol. wooOoot. Not forgetting his new PlayStation.
