Pasta Zanmai @ Mid Valley

My wife and I were at the Mid Valley Megamall one recent evening and were deciding on where to have our dinner when we saw Pasta Zanmai, nearby to Madam Kwan’s on the Level 1. As the name suggests, PZ is a Japanese-Western fusion eatery, describing itself as a ‘Japanese casual pasta restaurant’. Hmmm, ‘casual pasta’? Imagine Japanese pasta! We decided for the more Japanese menu for our first visit.
Started with Soft Shell Crab Tortilla Roll with Salad (RM13)
Unagi Kabayaki … roasted eel (RM20 per set) with a bowl of rice, miso soup and salad
Teriyaki Grilled Chicken (RM20 per set)
