Rosie Chooses Aug 8 for Her Wedding

Yesterday was, of course, a Double 8, said to be an auspicious day for weddings. I too got an invitation to attend a lunch reception to celebrate Rosilawati and Shaharum’s wedding. At noon, went to pick up Prema, Susan and Julie from the Giant Supermarket in Kelana Jaya before heading to the venue in Puchong. We were later joined by Hema and Kuna.

As part of the celebration, the newly-weds gave ‘green packets” containing duit (money) to some orphans
