Horseshoe Crabs for the Picking

In an earlier post, I’d mentioned going to Balik Pulau for the King of Fruits. We went by way the Jelutong and Bayan Lepas Expressways which took us through a stretch along the coast line. At a spot opposite Pulau Jerajak we spotted a family literally picking horseshoe crabs from the shallow water. The husband told us that the edible part is the roe, which is cooked in curry.
