One fine Saturday afternoon, not too long ago, went with my wife to La Manila in PJ’s Taman Megah for a late lunch. La Manila is of course better known for its cakes … afterall it started life as a cake house. But its cake also dishes out some surprises, i.e. if you order the right thing. Give the place a try if you have not dined here before. You won’t be disappointed. Heard that its Curry Mee is a popular item on its menu.
Pattaya Fried Rice @ RM8.80 … so-so only; the Special Fried Rice is a better choice
Shanghai Noodle @ RM8.80 … Thumb-up from my wife
Oreo Cheese Cake … heavenly to the last bite … RM7 with coffee or tea (3pm-5pm only)
