Eat All You Can @ LiJin Seafood Restaurant

Lijin Seafood Restaurant @ the Pavilion is drawing big crowds with its eat-all-you-can dim sum promotion at RM20.80++ per pax. The promo is only for weekends and public holidays, and patrons only have 2 hours to ‘eat all they can’ during each dining session. When we arrived at 11.30am a staff told us that we would have to vacate our table by 12.30 noon and asked if 1 hour sufficient. Hmmm … dim sum ala fast food style! OK lol. The next sessions are from 12.45pm to 2.45pm and 3pm to 5pm.
BTW it used to be RM18.80++ earlier this year. And you would fine a mini weighting scale at the cashier’s counter - there’s a penalty of RM10 for every 100gm of food wasted.
For RM20.80++ per pax I guess one shouldn’t expect too much. I am inclined to think that the restaurant reduces the variety of dim sum for the Eat All You Can promo. For example, they don’t serve Lotus Leaf Rice and loh mai kai. Also, no woo kok (at least on that morning we were there). However it’s value-for-money if you are the ‘eat to live’ type. That said, I must say that the prawns in the har gow were really fresh and succulent … don’t be a kiasu lah and gobble up all the har gow, haha.
How much was the bill? Let’s see: 3 pax x RM20.80 + tea (RM6) + tidbits/towels (RM8) + service charge (10%) = RM84.05.
