Many of us would have probably grown up having watched the animated Popeye the Sailor programme on television. Remember how Popeye compete with Bluto over the lanky Ms Olive Oyl?
Fast forward to the present day and a few months back, a Popeyes (spelt with an ’s’ at the end) Louisiana Kitchen open shop in KL’s Taman Tun Dr Ismail, diagonally opposite KFC. It has no connection with the cartoon character. Popeyes originates from New Orleans, Louisiana in the US. Apart from its chicken-based menu, it also offers fish and shrimp items. So, if you fancy having a change of taste from KFC or McD, give Popeyes a go. You may go back for more!
