Here’s one last photo taken from the MAS flight making its landing approach to the Kota Kinabalu International Airport. It shows the Sabah Foundation building, which overlooks the Likas Bay. If I am not wrong, the other building houses the Chief Minister’s office.a

I recently flew into the spanking new Terminal 1 of the makeover Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Open mid of August, the new terminal can handle up to 3,200 passengers per hour during peak periods and have 64 check-in counters. It can accommodate 17 aircraft at any one time.
