Bad Aftertaste at Amuleto

During a recent weekend, the family went to Mid Valley Megamall and was looking for a place to dine when we spotted Amuleto by Crystal Jade. Decided to give the place a go. But sad to say, our experience (and that of a number of other diners too) that evening was, to say the least, an unpleasant one. Firstly,that there was ‘confusion’ among the staff as a few inexperienced staff (not sure if they’re part-timers or trainees) were not sure of what they’re doing. There was also an instance where diners at a neighbouring table were served their ice-cream twice.
My wife’s and son’s spaghetti came 25-30 minutes after our orders were taken. I was still waiting for my Cheesy Baked Rice when they finished their meals! My rice plus the Soft Shell Crab arrived some 45 minutes after we sat down at our table.
Luckily, we had no complaints about the food. As we were seated close to the cashier’s counter, we overheard the staff repeatedly apologizing to patrons who had decide to go up to the counter to pay for their meals. Anyway, here are the photos taken with my Sony Ericsson W810i - appearing in the order that they were served.
