Fine ‘Lunching’ @ Mandarin Oriental
Aug 26th, 2008 by Steven
Was among the 300-odd attendees at a talk held at the Mandarin Oriental KL today. The event featured two distinguished personalities, with our former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamed, the architect of Vision 2020, kicking off the event. The main session was presented by futurist John Naisbitt. the author of Megatrend and Mind Set! to name two of his books. More of this crystal ball gazing stuff in a later posting.
Let’s get to the lunch, which was served at a little over quarter past one. For the starter, we had Roasted Tomato and Orange Soup with Basil Cream. This was followed by Coriander Crusted Chicken Breast Fondant Potatoes, Pepperonata and Pan Jus for the main course. What a mouthful for the menu name!

And for dessert - Cassata Ice Parfait with Orange Sabayon and Sweet Straw
