Bidor Duck Mee in Kota Kemuning
Aug 23rd, 2008 by Steven
Those of you who have been to Bidor town (in Perak) or stopped over on your way up north would have stopped at the Pun Chun Restaurant for its wan tan mee or its famous Duck Drumstick Noodle. Now you need not go all the way to Bidor to savour its noodle. They have opened a branch in the Kota Kemuning township (Shah Alam). Was in the neighbourhood one recent Sunday with my nephew and his family, and the place was packed, although not as bad as the Bidor outlet.
Pun Chun Noodle House is located on Jalan Anggerik Vanilla AC31/AC, Kota Kemuning (corner lot).
BTW a word of advice - ask for your printed receipt and check before paying. I didn’t check although I asked for the receipt. There were a couple of additional items that I was double certain we did not order nor served at our table, including RM5.80 for “Open Food” (whatever it was) and being double charged for a take-away packet of wan tan mee (RM5). I like to take this incident as a case of pure human error with the cashier having mixed up the order slips.

Duck drumstick (roasted) with noodle in herbal soup (RM6.80 small serving)

Dry curry pork ribs with noodle (RM4.80 small serving) - could be wild boar meat

You can also get their famous kai chay pehn (chicken biscuit) here
