Malaysia’s Tallest Flagpole
Jul 28th, 2008 by Steven
Here’s a different perspective of our country’s tallest free-standing flagstaff at the Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square). It’s sited on the spot where the Malayan flag was first hoisted on 31 August 1957. If the info I got from the Internet is correct, our 100-metre pole is no longer the world’s tallest.
It’s a pity that it was hazy on the morning I took this shot from Wisma Lee Rubber. A blue sky would have made a difference to the outcome.
