Goodness gracious! Here we’ve a person who’s willing to contribute to Penang’s development, and he gets flak from both his own political party and the BN. Can you believe that?

The nation must be apolitical when it comes to forging her economic future. We talk about ‘us’ against the world. We talk about brain drain and whatnots, and yet when Lee Kah Choon accepts the directorship in Penang Development Corporation – a statutory body – and InvestPenang’s executive chairmanship, all hell broke loss. There were arguments that he’s not qualified for the job, blah, blah. Utter rubbish! Why? Take the case of Pak Lah and reflect for a moment on his report card as PM. Remember he asked a another chance? It’s little wonder when he said he’d leave it to Gerakan and Penang Barisan to decide on any action against LKC. Even so-called ‘qualified’ persons can fail and miserably too as we have seen of umpteen cases in the corporate world. So, give LKC a chance to prove his worth.

I’m glad that LKC has decided to quit his party. This perhaps is the immediate solution to enable him to get on with the task that he ‘s been entrusted to accomplish. That’s the way to go, KC. Time will be your judge and do you justice
