Thailicious Fare at Flying Chillies
Mar 21st, 2008 by Steven
This blog should have been posted much earlier as it was way back last December on a Saturday that saw my wife, son and I window shopping at The Gardens in Mid Valley City. It was close to lunch time when we strolled past the Flying Chillies on the 3rd floor. My son had read some good reviews about it and we decided to give it a try.
As the name suggests, it’s another Thai restaurant. Diners have a choice of being seated inside its premises or along the wide walkway, which gives a good view of the surrounding.
On that day, there were a few Thai staff attending to the diners. We opted for something light, i.e. the Thai hawker fare…

We were not disappointed with Flying Chillies, and it gets our thumbs-up. Not surprising since it is part of the SEA Cuisine group that operates the chain of restaurants and cafes like Amarin Heavenly Thai, Just Thai, Bangkok Jam, Absolute Thai, Good Evening Bangkok and Rain Nudle House, to name some.
