This was taken at an open-air hawker food centre in Krabi, sited on a public car park. We went there twice - once for supper and the second occasion, for dinner. Apart from the locals, there were many tourists who wanted to saviour authentic Thai hawker food.
The ‘uncle’ in the photo is probably in his 60s and operates the stall with his wife; offering only two types of pancakes. The stall is rather popular among the locals. He prepares one type with kaya and dessicated coconut filling, and his wife the other of egg yolk and dessicated coconut filling.
