Thumbs-up for BakerZin
Jan 27th, 2008 by Steven
What do you think of the food served at Bakerzin, ie if you’ve dined there before? As for me (including my family), they get our thumbs-up when we patronized their One Utama outlet recently. Singapore-grown Bakerzin is, of course, well-known for their desserts - cakes, pastries, tapas, soufflés and ice-cream.
We found the service good and food good to taste and eat. Price is comparatively reasonable for such an up-market restaurant, although not that cheap (as in cheap, cheap).
Ok, here’s what we ordered.

Tender Lamb Stew with carrot and capsicum (bell pepper) together with a choice of bread or rice serving (RM26)

Fish Milan (dory fish) served with vegetables and meshed potato

Seafood Spaghetti with clams, squid and prawns in tomato sauce (RM28)

Warm Chocolate Cake - Bakerzin’s signature must-try dessert. The centre is filled with warm dark chocolate that oozes out like volcano lava, topped with vanilla ice-cream (RM16.90)

Baked Apple Tart topped with vanilla ice-cream
