This was taken early in the morning, at about 7am.

Thumbs-up for BakerZin

What do you think of the food served at Bakerzin, ie if you’ve dined there before? As for me (including my family), they get our thumbs-up when we patronized their One Utama outlet recently. Singapore-grown Bakerzin is, of course, well-known for their desserts - cakes, pastries, tapas, soufflés and ice-cream.

Art and Progress

For decades since her independence in 1965, Singapore’s main focus has been its survival, development, trade and industry. Little attention was given to art and culture. This is a thing of the past. Having achieved its economic status, the Lion City has in recent years been promoting its art and cultural aspects. In fact, I’m […]

Togetherness

A Chinese family having a breakfast of “bak kut teh” (pork rib tea) in an open public place at a food court in Singapore’s Chinatown. Apart from the pork ribs served in a claypot of herbal soup, the side orders included steam fish and pork trotter in vinegar.
Have a blessed and fruitful year ahead in […]
