n.y.d.c. At The Heeren, S’pore
Dec 28th, 2007 by Steven
It was past 7.30pm when we arrived at Orchard Road. Time for dinner. Given the humongous crowd thronging the area, it was not surprising that most restaurants were filled with diners. We found ourselves at the n.y.d.c. Café & Restaurant in The Heeren Shops. Interestingly, this outlet is set up like a sidewalk cafe - it’s located outside the mall. As you dine, you can watch people passing by.
We were in the queue for about 30 minutes before we got a table. The service was good and our meals were served in reasonably good time.

Iced Fruity Elephanccino ($7.65) - that’s my drink

When 2 Becomes 1 - spaghetti with Italian ham and mushrooms in cream sauce ($15.50). Non-halal

Oven-baked penne pasta - a choice of different toppings at $11.90. Picture above: Hawai’ian pasta with Italian ham, pineapple and tomato sauce plus mozzarella
