n.y.d.c. At The Heeren, S’pore

It was past 7.30pm when we arrived at Orchard Road. Time for dinner. Given the humongous crowd thronging the area, it was not surprising that most restaurants were filled with diners. We found ourselves at the n.y.d.c. Café & Restaurant in The Heeren Shops. Interestingly, this outlet is set up like a sidewalk cafe - […]

Here, it’s a case […]

The Star’s Double Take

Some of you may have come across the mischievous work of the printer’s devil in some of today’s editions of The Star. As you can see from the photo below, the multiple copies of The Star delivered to my office had two pages printed with the same news and advertisement on pages W48 (B&W) and […]

Fairies in Our Midst

With Xmas around the corner, fairies (of the mortal kind) are making their rounds at the Mid Valley Megamall…adding a magical touch to the festive mood. And if you are a Mastercard holder, you can have your photo taken with them (if you use your MC to pay for your purchases at the shopping mall).

A Saffron-Robed Monk

Spotted this foreign monk along the corridor of a row of shops. He was going round collecting donations from restaurant patrons.
