Try Marco’s Pizza For A Change
Sep 30th, 2007 by Steven
Are you a pizza lover? Well, if you fancy something different from what you’ve been eating at Domino’s, Shakey’s or Pizza Hut, then check out Marco’s Pizza. I have been to this eatery twice since its opening, and I can say that it offers a different dining experience.
Marco’s claims that it “specializes in authentic Italian cuisine. The concept of this restaurant is uniquely situated between gourmet and fast food…” (FACES, Sept 2006).
I don’t think the local Marco’s Pizza is connected with a US-based pizza chain of the same name that was started by Italian-migrant Pat Giammarco in 1978. Word has it that our Marco’s Pizza and King Crab Restaurant (located a few shoplots down the road from Marco’s) share the same boss, who is a shareholder of KAM Holdings, which also owns Pathlab.
BTW while you have your pizza, spaghetti or pasta, you can also get connected or chat with friends via the web as the restaurant offers free wireless broadband connection. And if your battery is low on electrical juice, there are power points located in various parts of the premises.
Marco’s Pizza is located at Jalan SS25/2, Taman Bukit Emas. It’s opposite the Kelana Jaya LRT Station. You can’t miss it – look out for the giant-size King Crab and Marco’s signboards. If you still can’t locate the place, call them at 03 7803 5000 for assistance.
