Colours of the Karen Tribe

Today, I am sharing two photographs taken during my last escapade to Thailand. They are from the visit to Union of Hilltribes Village in Chiangrai. The first photo shows a Karen girl weaving a piece of cloth; surrounded by colourful cloths and wooden carvings depicting the tribe’s heritage. The other photo below is of young Karen girl, with brass rings adorning her neck. Don’t you think that this is a good promotional shot for Hello Kitty?
